Ronnie Lion – Spanish Town
Das Debüt-Soloalbum von Ronnie Lion, einer Hälfte von Ambient Warrior, ist eine Hommage an Spanish Town, die Hauptstadt von St. Catherine in Jamaika.
Wie der Titel schon andeutet, ist die spanische Gitarre sowohl bei Ronnie als auch bei Leadgitarrist Sean Wilkinson stark vertreten.
Das Album basiert im Kern auf einer Reggae-Palette, wobei die Rhythmusgruppe mit Ronnie am Bass und Horseman am Schlagzeug ein grundsolides Fundament für die komplexen und einprägsamen Hooks von Seans spanischer Gitarre bildet.
