Stinky Jim – Social Awareness (The Remixes)
Letztes Jahr habe ich über Stinky Jims sehr leckeres Album „Spatial Awareness“ geplaudert. Hier nun die Remixe eines Doppelalbums zum Genießen. Der Titel lautet „Social Awareness“, vermutlich zu Ehren des Aufrufs der Remixer, die sich bereitwillig bereit erklärten, mit Jims Originalen herumzuspielen.
Anscheinend kam alles zustande, als ein neues Vinyl-Label aus Hamilton (ausgerechnet Haymaker Records) einen 12-Zoll-Remix vorschlug, der sich schnell zu einem epischen Projekt mit musizierenden Fans der Dienstagabend-95bFM-Show Stinky Grooves entwickelte.
